Marie Curie provides practical information and support on all aspects of life with terminal illness, caring for someone and bereavement, over the phone, via web chat, online, in print, and through an online community.
Marie Curie provides hands-on care and vital emotional support to people living with terminal illnesses in several ways. The Marie Curie Nurses work on the front line in people’s homes across the UK, the Hospices offer the reassurance of specialist care and support, in a friendly, welcoming environment and Marie Curie trained Helper volunteers offer a friendly ear and everyday support.
We carry out leading research to help improve what we do to support people affected by terminal illness, death and bereavement, as well as services provided by others. Our Research teams in centres and hospices across the UK are hard at work, pushing the boundaries of what we know about good experiences at the end of life.
